Biography
Ernest Lorenzo “Enchong” Dee, born November 5, 1988, is a Filipino actor, model, heartthrob and champion swimmer. His stage name is actually a homophone of his birth name.
Dee’s first TV apperance came in 2006 when he appeared in a popular Philippine talk show “Homeboy” as one of the guests. He caught the eye of a modeling agency and advertisers and soon he appeared in several big campaigns including “Bench”, “KFC” and “Timex.”
Dee’s promising career took off when he landed several acting roles in 2007 up to present time such as “Sineserye”, “Komiks: Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkantao”, “Abt Ur Luv” book 1 & 2, “My Girl” and “Your Song Presents: My Only Hope”. He will soon star in “Maruja” and “Ikaw Lamang”.
Aside from his acting and modeling career, Dee is also part of the Philippine national swim team and has participated in the SEA Games and 2006 Asian Games. He has won over 400 medals as a swimmer. After graduating from Naga Christian Hope School, one of the top high schools in Naga City, Camarines Sur, he further pursued his swimming career at De La Salle University – Manila.
He speaks Bicol, English and Tagalog.
