Sa panayam kay Kristoffer Martin ng ilang reporters sa press conference ng Reel Love presents Tween Hearts noong September 20, tila nalagay sa alanganing sitwasyon ang tween star nang tanungin kung gusto ba niyang maging katulad ng Kapamilya actor na si Enchong Dee.
Nagtawanan kasi ang mga kaharap niyang reporters nang mapasagot ang binata na ayaw niyang maging isang Enchong Dee, lalo na nang mabanggit nitong ayaw niyang mapagtsismisan din siyang isa siyang bading.
Lumabas sa ilang tabloid ang sinabi ni Kristoffer, kaya gusto ng binatilyo na linawin ito, bago pa siya pag-initan ng mga fans ni Enchong.
“Naku, ayaw ko na po palakihin yung issue. Baka awayin pa ako ng fans ni Enchong Dee,” bungad nga ni Kristoffer nang makausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) noong September 26, sa GMA-7 Building.

In Tuesday’s red carpet premiere of the much awaited wedding event of the year, love team Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee thanked all their supporters who showed up at SM Megamall to watch their first mainstream movie, “I do.”
The premiere night adopted a wedding theme in lieu with the movie’s concept.
“Sobrang thankful po talaga kami sa lahat po ng nagpunta dito. Ang pag-welcome po nila sa amin sobra sobra po talaga, nakaka-overwhelm. Thank you, thank you po talaga,” Gonzales said.
Dee added, “Thank you very much to all hindi ko na mabanggit isa isa pero salamat salamat po talaga. Lalo na sa mga press na nagpunta because they are very supportive with the film and thank you to everyone na nandito ngayon.”

During the premiere of I Do last night, September 28, at SM Megamall, Enchong Dee looked dashing in his Rajo Laurel suit while Erich Gonzales was a vision in her light pink gown designed by Nat Manilag.
Enchong compares the premiere night to a commencement exercise. “Para siyang graduation…para kaming graduate ni Erich and everyone is happy for us.”
When asked about their supposed rivalry with the tandem of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, Erich pointed out, “Wala naman pong issue. Nandito kami para pagbutihin ang trabaho namin. At the end of the day, trabaho lang naman po, e. Sila rin naman po, looking forward sa gagawin nilang movie.”
Enchong agreed with his leading lady. “Nag VTR nga sina Kuya John Lloyd [Cruz] and nandun sina Kim and Gerald…we’re very happy kasi nga magkakaibigan kami and we support each other kaya sobrang thankful kami sa isa’t isa.”

Ginagampanan ng veteran comedian na si Dennis Padilla ang papel ng tatay ni Erich Gonzales sa Star Cinema movie na I Do, na magsisimula nang ipalabas sa mga sinehan bukas, September 29. Katambal dito ni Erich ang kanyang love-team partner na si Enchong Dee.
Sa set visit ng I Do ay natanong ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Dennis kung gaano kalapit ang character niya sa tunay na buhay, lalo pa’t may mga nagdadalaga na rin siyang mga anak.
“Parang totoong buhay,” sagot niya. “Ako, as a father, very protective ako sa anak ko. Unang-una, maganda siya. Pangalawa, very young din.
“Katulad sa isang eksena namin, yung first time ko nakita si Enchong Dee. Siyempre, suplado ako sa kanya dahil sinusundo niya ang anak ko. Tapos, ipapakilala niya sa akin na boyfriend niya sa Enchong.

Enchong, Sir Keren and their whole group,as well as Melai, arrived before 07:30 PM just in time for the press conference. Erich did not make it ‘coz they said she wasn’t feeling well since the night before the event. (Get well soon!) Melai went to the venue right away but Enchong’s group decided to eat first at Cibo so we had to wait for them until 08:00 PM. And since it’s time for the screening already, we had some minor changes in our program. Movie first before the mini press con. When he arrived in front of the cinema, he was welcomed by the press. They interviewed him for a while, same with what they did for Melai, before he finally went inside.
I asked Enchong if it’s ok for them to stay and he said yes so no more problem with the program changes. I sat next to Enchong the whole movie. He was laughing every time someone would scream his name or would yell out of “kilig”. Melai was cheering for him too, so in return, Enchong shouted “Go Melai!” when the comedienne was being shown on the big screen. Somewhere in the middle of the movie, Melai had to go because she still has a taping for the sitcom “Banana Split”. We gave her a bouquet and a cake. When the OST of the movie was played at one point in the movie, I heard Enchong singing. 
After the movie, Enchong stood up right away. We then put back the table, chair, lights, etc. in front for the mini press con. He watched the behind the scenes clip while standing in front of the cinema. When it was done, I started to throw him questions and he was game enough to answer all of them. The last question was “What is love for you, Enchong?”. And he said that it’s like a favorite movie, something that you’d watch over and over again. Something to that effect. Some people from PEP, Star Cinema, TV crews of ABS-CBN were all there. Thank you! After answering all my questions, he was interviewed by SNN for a bit. Then photo op time for the fans. They then left the venue and I accompanied them up to the parking lot.
Thank you everyone for making our event a SUCCESSFUL one! Enchong, Sir Keren, Star Cinema, all our members, Melizites, the press, etc. You guys know who you are.
