Loading ...Enchong Dee admits that he has plans of courting someone
During the press conference of Magkaribal last June 17, Enchong Dee defended his love team partner Erich Gonzales on rumors regarding the latter’s supposed attitude problem towards her co-stars. Enchong said that Erich has always been a nice girl who is well loved on the set. “[There was a time na] pagdating ko sa set nagulat ako kasi inunahan niya ako sa pwesto ko, magkatabi na sila ni Bea Alonzo kasi nag-gi-girl talk sila. Magka-text kami kagabi niyayaya ko siya na lumabas kami sabi niya, ‘Ayoko muna kasi may mga issues na naman na lumalabas [tungkol sa akin].’ Sabi ko, ‘Hindi ka pa ba sanay? Kasi ako sanay na, e.’ Kaya darating din ang time na mavi-vindicate siya.”
Meanwhile, the press got word about his new real-life love interest and asked Enchong for details. But Enchong chose to keep mum on the matter. “Huwag na, lalabas na lang ‘yun. Hintayin niyo na lang, pagbigyan niyo naman ako, minsan lang ako ma-in love. Promise, tahimik lang muna. Natutuwa ako sa inyo kasi binibigyan niyo ako ng panahon na hayaang kiligin yung sarili ko.”
Since he is serious about not disclosing the girl’s identity, ABS-CBN.com asked Enchong to just describe her. “Malapit siya sa showbiz. Kakilala ko siya matagal niya, pero kakilala lang, hindi kaibigan—siguro mga three years.” When he was asked what he likes about the girl, he said, “Siguro masasagot ko kapag sinagot na niya ako. Pero hindi pa ako nanliligaw, kakapagpakilala ko lang [sa kanya]. Huwag niyo naman [pangunahan] kasi baka masira ang diskarte. Mapre-preempt.” Enchong assured the press that when that time comes, he will open up and will gladly answer questions.
Enchong also shared that Erich is acquainted with the girl and the latter does not mind if he plans to court her because they are just friends. “Si Erich understanding naman yun. Basta supportive siya, ‘yun lang ang masasabi ko,” Enchong said. He is also not worried about his and Erich’s fans’ reaction regarding the matter. “Ang pinakamaganda sa fans naming dalawa ni Erich is naiintindihan nila na hiwalay yung camera at realidad, alam nila yan. Kung may ginagawa man kaming trabahong hiwalay, naiintindihan nila yun.”
