Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee reach MU stage

The friendship of Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee has leveled up!

In her latest tweet, Phomela Barranda confirmed there’s more to the friendship of the two young stars of ABS-CBN.

“BTW erich and enchong mag MU na!” was Phomela’s recent tweet message.

This probably explains why Enchong came to Erich’s defense in her recent brush with intrigues. Erich, for months now, has been pictured as an ingrate, primadonna and unprofessional who lashes out at production people for the slightest mistake.

Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales fall in love in ‘Paano Ko Sasabihin?’

Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales’s first big screen team up, Cinema One Originals’ Paano Ko Sasabihin?, will finally be shown in selected SM Cinemas in Metro Manila from April 16 to 22. In the movie, Enchong plays the role of Mike, a young teacher at a school for the deaf-mute; while Erich plays Ehryl whose little brother is a deaf-mute, which is why she’s good at sign language. When they first meet each other, both of them decide to pretend that they’re deaf in order to get to know each other better.

But what makes the movie more interesting is that there are other secrets that the characters are hiding from each other. “Si Ehryl nagtratrabaho siya sa isang TV network tapos may kapatid siyang deaf-mute. And parang dream niya talaga na mabigyan yung brother niya ng hearing aid na pinapangarap nito. Never pa talaga siyang na-in love pero nung dumating yung time na yun, parang naging confusing for her kasi hindi niya alam kung [pipiliin niya yung] guy na talagang pinapangarap niya or yung nandyan na,” Erich said about her role in the film. Enchong’s character, on the other hand, seems to have a dark past which will threaten to destroy their growing feelings for each other.

Enchong Dee reacts to rumors he’s gay

Young actor Enchong Dee has finally responded to reports saying he is gay.

In an interview during the press conference of his film, “Paano Ko Sasabihin,” with his on-screen partner Erich Gonzales, Dee said he is aware of the reports alleging that he is a homosexual.

“Opo (narinig ko na po ‘yon). Bahala na po sila. Wala na po (akong magagawa). Kumbaga, simula po noon hanggang ngayon, wala po akong ginagawang masama pero kapag ganyan, may mga lumalabas nga,” Dee said.

The actor said he does not know when and how the issue started, but stressed he does not really care since he knows he’s not gay.

Details about the show:

The show started past 04:00 PM. Enchong and Erich arrived at the venue together through the mall’s fire exit. There were some games before they finally came out of the backstage. Enchong sang “Sabihin Mo Na” first, then he introduced Erich. As Erich came out, she/they sang “Where Ever You Will Go”.

They asked some fans to come up in the stage. One batch asked them questions, and the other reenacted some scenes from “Paano Ko Sasabihin?” with the two lead roles. After the show, they then signed the movie posters given to 20 random fans prior the show. They also did a lot of interviews so watch out for those (probably SNN, E-Live, The Buzz, etc.). After the interviews, they went down the stage to have pics and some more spiels/interviews I think, with the fans around them but the commotion was uncontrollable so they pulled them out right away. Instead, they did the spiels/interviews backstage.

Erich left the venue first through the fire exit again while Enchong walked down the main stairs of the mall.

I had a blast! Big thanks to the very cooperative fans! I hope the winners were happy too! And for the photos, big thanks to Zoe, Grace and Jenilyn for sharing them! More to come!

Cinema One entry Paano Ko Sasabihin will be screened from April 16-22

Considered as one of their generation’s hottest love teams, Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzalez will once again grace the big screen via the Cinema One Originals movie Paano Ko Sasabihin. This indie film competed in the 5th edition of Cinema One held last November 2009.

Paano Ko Sasabihin will be screened from April 16 to 22 at all SM Cinemas all over Metro Manila. In line with the theatrical screening, Cinema One, will be treating avid supporters of Erich and Enchong to an afternoon filled with fun and excitement. The fans day will be on April 7, 4 pm at SM North EDSA Annex, Entertainment Plaza.
