Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales fall in love in ‘Paano Ko Sasabihin?’
Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales’s first big screen team up, Cinema One Originals’ Paano Ko Sasabihin?, will finally be shown in selected SM Cinemas in Metro Manila from April 16 to 22. In the movie, Enchong plays the role of Mike, a young teacher at a school for the deaf-mute; while Erich plays Ehryl whose little brother is a deaf-mute, which is why she’s good at sign language. When they first meet each other, both of them decide to pretend that they’re deaf in order to get to know each other better.
But what makes the movie more interesting is that there are other secrets that the characters are hiding from each other. “Si Ehryl nagtratrabaho siya sa isang TV network tapos may kapatid siyang deaf-mute. And parang dream niya talaga na mabigyan yung brother niya ng hearing aid na pinapangarap nito. Never pa talaga siyang na-in love pero nung dumating yung time na yun, parang naging confusing for her kasi hindi niya alam kung [pipiliin niya yung] guy na talagang pinapangarap niya or yung nandyan na,” Erich said about her role in the film. Enchong’s character, on the other hand, seems to have a dark past which will threaten to destroy their growing feelings for each other.
