Enchong Dee is set to star in a movie with Bea Alonzo and Coco Martin
In recent episodes of Tanging Yaman, Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales bared some skin for a beach scene where their characters progressed from being just friends to star-crossed lovers. The scenes were more daring than what they’ve done in their previous teleserye Katorse, but the actor/champion swimmer was quick to say that both he and Erich didn’t feel awkward with each other during the shoot.
“Eto na, pa-sexy na ng pa-sexy yung Tanging Yaman. Sakto namankasi it’s summer so it’s the best way, it’s the only way to show the viewers na pumunta kami sa beach na walang t-shirt. Yung mga ganong stuff. It’s perfect. Pati yung kissing scene namin dun ni Erich. It really helps na okay na okay ang bonding namin even offscreen kaya I think nagagawa namin yung trabaho ng maayos,” Enchong shared in a recent interview with ABS-CBN.com.
Enchong’s career continues to rise as he will soon start working on his first movie under Star Cinema. “Sobrang excited ako kasi kung hindi maaantala yung schedule. Siguro mga next month magsisimula na kami. Hindi ko pa sure kung kasama ko si Erich dun sa movie. Pero so far, ang alam ko, makakasama ko dito si Bea Alonzo and Coco Martin. It’s a privilege na nabigyan ako ng Star Cinema ng ganitong klaseng opportunity lalo na yung mga makakasama ko pang artista e talagang veteran pagdating sa pag-arte,” he revealed.
When asked about the film’s storyline, Enchong shared that it’s going to tackle family issues. “Perfect na perfect din siya kasi ang dami ngayong nababalitaan na broken family, family problems… So it’s a great way of educating people na rin. Yun na lang muna ang masasabi ko. Basta surprise na muna yung ibang detalye.”
In spite of his busy schedule, Enchong has no complaints, especially since he will be going on an Asian cruise again with other showbiz personalities during the Holy Week holidays. “Kasama si Kuya Zanj (Zanjoe Marudo), Tito Keren (Pascual), Angelica (Panganiban), Derek (Ramsay) and a lot more. Isa yung malupit na bakasyon. Sobrang excited na ako kasi bago ako pumunta dun puro trabaho ako, tapos pagbalik trabaho na naman. So it’s unwinding time. Of course, looking forward din naman ako sa pagbalik namin kasi magpri-premiere ulit yung ginawa naming indie film ni Erich (Cinema One Originals’ Paano Ka Iibigin). Pagkatapos nun, hopefully, susunod naman yung movie with Star Cinema,” he beamed.
