This being meg’s Valentine issue, we posed a slew of love-related questions to Gigger Boys Aaron Villaflor, AJ Perez, Chris Gutierrez, Dino Imperial, Enchong Dee, Robi Domingo and Sam Concepcion. Their answers play on the serious, the funny and the surprising. Bet you’re as curious as we were!
Are you in a relationship now? How many girlfriends have you had?
AJ: Not at the moment. Not girlfriends. I would say flings. How many? Secret!
Chris: No. Two.
Dino: Five.
Robi: Nope.
Aaron: Still single. I’ve had two girlfriends when I was in high school.
Sam: No, I’m not in a relationship right now. I never really had a girlfriend.
Enchong: Nope. Just two.
Do you use pick-up lines when courting? What’s your favorite line?
AJ: No. I just act natural, but if I were to use one, I’d say, “If I were to arrange the alphabets, I would put U and I together.”
Chris: Never. I just say what comes to mind.
Dino: Hey! How you doin’? =) *wink wink*
Robi: Not really. But I used this line once, “Aren’t you tired? ’Cause you keep running in my mind.”
Aaron: No. Sweet kapag nanggaling mismo sa ’yo. Promise.
Sam: How you doing? (Joey Tribiani style)
Enchong: I avoid using it.
Do you happen to have any courting booboos?
AJ: One time, I accidentally spilled my drink on my shirt while eating.
Chris: I once forgot to bring money, so my date had to pay for both of us.
Dino: I don’t make ligaw, but there was a time when I was talking to the girl and food flew out of my mouth.
Aaron: ’Wag na lang. Hahaha!
How was your first kiss?
AJ: The first kiss is always the most memorable one.
Chris: Amazing.
Dino: I was nervous, shaking, and it took forever before we kissed. And we did! I was like a dog, but instead of my tail wagging, my legs were shaking. Hahaha!
Robi: All I can say is . . . WOW!
Aaron: =)
Sam: Well, it was sweet, romantic, weird and awkward. Still, it was the best.
Enchong: Exciting, because it was in a hidden place.
Would you date someone older than you?
AJ: Why not?! It depends, though, if we connect with each other.
Chris: Yes.
Dino: Yes, I did na.
Robi: I’d prefer women who are younger or the same age as I am. I want to be the one to take care of her.
Aaron: Not too old, around 20s is acceptable.
Sam: Yeah, I guess. Why not?! But maybe not too old like an Ashton Kutcher-Demi Moore kind of thing. Haha.
Enchong: Yes!
Have you ever cried over a girl who broke your heart?
AJ: No, nothing that bad has happened yet.
Chris: Yes.
Dino: Yes.
Robi: Yes. I couldn’t sleep, eat and breath.
Aaron: Nothing in my experience.
Sam: No.
Enchong: Yes! Boys do cry.
If your ex-girlfriends are to describe the kind of boyfriend you were, what would they say about you?
AJ: That I was very sweet and very patient with them. I’m very humble.
Chris: Sweet.
Dino: Well, my exes would probably say I suck. I’ve always had bad breakups.
Aaron: Sweet, ’yun ang sabi nila. Harharhar.
Enchong: Unforgettable.
What’s the most romantic movie you’ve ever seen?
AJ: 500 Days of Summer and Love Actually.
Chris: P.S. I Love You.
Dino: Fireproof.
Robi: Serendipity.
Aaron: Titanic, my favorite romantic movie.
Enchong: 500 Days of Summer.
