SYNOPSIS from Paanokosasabihin Blog

Two strangers find love in a chance encounter on the train to work. Meet Ehryl, a television writer, with a deaf-mute brother, and Mike, an art teacher for the deaf. Thinking Mike was deaf, Erhyl replies in sign language, making Mike believe she was also deaf.
And so they continue their charade, sharing their problems and dreams– all in sign language. Until Erhyl accidentally blows her cover. She keeps away, ridden by pain and guilt, only to be surprised by another truth in the end.

Paano Ko Sasabihin posits the question how far would you go to keep appearances up for love’s sake? And would that love stand a chance in the face of the painful truth?

Enchong and Erich in ‘Paano Kong Sasabihin’

To be held at the Gateway Cinemas starting Friday the 13th, this year’s Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival has five official entries: ‘Wanted: Border,’ ‘Maximus & Minimus,’ ‘Paano Ko Sasabihin,’ ‘Bala-Bala,’ and ‘Si Baning Si Maymay at ang asong si Bobo.’

Written and directed by Richard Legaspi, ‘Paano Ko Sasabihin’ is a romantic comedy about a chance meeting between two strangers played by Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales who can ‘hear’ the call of love by using their hearts.

“Paano Ko Sasabihin?” Enchong & Erich portrayed the role as deaf-mute lovers in the movie. Enchong Dee’s character knows sign languages since he teaches this in the school where he works. Meanwhile, Erich’s character knows how to sign languages because of her deaf-mute brother.
