Some of the younger generation chose a showbiz career over school. They reason out that they need to help their parents financially or they simply enjoy performing and entertaining Pinoy audiences. Other young stars take on showbiz and school at the same time, saying it’s just matter of proper time management.
ABS-CBN’s Station ID for summer 2009 shows a colorful music video of a “Kanto Boys” (Billy Crawford, John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Manzano and Vhong Navarro) song showing Kapamilya entertainment stars and news personalities building homes for the poor, cleaning a river and the sea, sweeping streets, feeding children, among many other community activities.
Dr. Vicki Belo recently extended a helping hand to the Pink for Life Foundation, a non-profit charity organization that provides free chemotherapy sessions to breast cancer patients.
The fundraising event was the launch of two fabulous and exciting scents – the Scents for Life – that pledged support to battle breast cancer. Faith and Inspire, the essences that make a difference and help save lives, are manufactured by Bench, one of the country’s leading brands.
For the new campaign of Viva! Mineralized Water, renowned photographer Mark Nicdao launched his first solo exhibit, “Alive.”
All of Mark’s gigantic and dramatic black-and-white photos depicting the beauty of the human form in raw strength and balance were displayed in Greenbelt 5’s Fashion Walk Area. Events PR Keren Pascual really knows how to continually impress us all with his creative ideas.

After Your Song Presents: Underage, Enchong and the rest of the Gigger Boys will be next and it will be entitled Boystown. It will start airing first Sunday of April.
Maruja, on the other hand, will air last Saturday of April.
The Ayala Malls have lined-up a series of shows featuring the brightest and most talented from ABS-CBN Star Magic including Enchong. Here’s the schedule of their tour:
March 22, 4pm – Metropoint
April 4, 6pm – Alabang Town Center Town Plaza
April 15, 6pm – Trinoma Activity Center
April 18, 4pm – Glorietta Activity Center (with a meet and greet with the stars at 5pm at the Glorietta 5 Park)
